The short, plain version, so nothing here is a mystery.

Short answer. These guides are made by one person, Tori, under the name TIC. We make money in one way: selling the Recipe Pack. There are no ads, no affiliate links and no paid placements, so no company pays to be rated well.

Who

Tori, an individual, working under the name TIC (formerly TIC Association). The pages are built from a sourced catalog by a script. Every claim links to its source; where there is no source, the page says it is our assumption.

What we do

We check ways of earning online and say plainly which are worth a try, which are not proven, and which to avoid. We also build Restmode, a phone app that helps a person pick a path and run its routine work. The app is in preview and is not for sale.

Three rules for our apps

You set the limits, you see every action, and you can switch it off.

What we sell, and what it costs

How we make money

Only from those sales. A rating is never for sale, and we never take payment from a platform or a seller to change one.

Where payments happen

Paid products are sold only through Gumroad. Gumroad's terms say it is the merchant of record for those sales, so the seller on your receipt is the checkout, and it handles refund requests and the sales tax. Prices and terms are on each product page.
