How to read your result
The yearly figure is the one that surprises people: USD 20 a month is USD 240 a year. The per-day figure shows what each day of real use costs you. If it is high, you either use the plan less than you thought or you could pay less. None of this is advice to cancel: it is a way to see the number.
Free versus paid
Most assistants have a free plan with daily limits. Paying makes sense when you keep hitting those limits on something you care about. If you pay for several assistants that do the same job, pausing the extras for a month costs nothing and shows whether you missed them.
Questions people ask
How much do AI subscriptions cost per month?
On 2026-10-09, the main consumer plans we checked listed Claude Pro at USD 20 a month (USD 17 a month on yearly billing), Google AI Pro at USD 19.99 and ChatGPT Plus at about USD 20 (as reported in July 2026). Higher tiers cost from about USD 100 to USD 200 a month. Prices and plan names change, so check your bill.
Is it worth paying for more than one AI assistant?
Most people use one assistant most days. Paying for several only makes sense if each does something the others cannot for you. A simple test: pause one for a month and see if you miss it.
Does this tool save my subscriptions?
No. It runs in your browser and stores nothing.
Can an AI subscription help me earn money?
It can speed up drafting, editing and planning, but no tool earns for you. We make no income promise. Our Recipe Pack shows 12 ways we rate worth a try and how to use your own assistant on them.
