A free two-minute check for any course, bot, group or "opportunity" you are thinking of paying for.

How it works. Answer ten yes/no questions about any "make money online" offer, course, bot or group, using the seller's own pages (not a testimonial). Three or more "no" answers means stop. It takes about two minutes and nothing you type leaves your phone.

Two extra rules on this page

Our free PDF says three or more "no" answers means stop. This page adds one thing: a "no" on question 3 (the money comes from recruiting), 7 (you must break a platform's rules) or 8 (it asks for passwords, remote access, gift cards or crypto) is a stop on its own, because each of those is a way people lose accounts or money fast.

Set your stop rule before you start

Even an offer that passes can fail for you. Before you spend anything, write down three things: the most you will spend, the number of weeks you will give it, and the result that means "keep going". If the date comes and the result is not there, stop. Stopping on time is the method.

Questions people ask

Can this tell me if something is a scam?
No tool can prove that. It shows warning signs. Three or more "no" answers is our stop rule, and a "no" on questions 3, 7 or 8 is a stop on its own.

Where do the ten questions come from?
From our free Is it a scheme? check, which comes from our dated, sourced catalog of 40 ways to earn online. Each question matches a pattern regulators and platforms warn about.

Does this save what I type?
No. It runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to us and nothing is stored.

What if the offer passes all ten?
It only means these warning signs were not there. Most ways to earn online still take weeks and may pay nothing, so set a spending limit and a stop date before you start.
