Buying views or running networks of clip: why we say do not start
Do not start checked 2026-10-08
Running many fake or bulk-posting accounts, or paying for views, to push clips to a campaign's payout cap.
What the evidence says about money
Some sources describe multi-account systems as how top clippers earn five figures, but those are survivor stories and unaudited. The same ecosystem reports bot-inflated views that stop right at the payout cap, rejected clips, frozen balances and permanent bans. Whop's creator terms say buying or generating views, or coordinating to do so, results in a permanent ban and linked accounts can be blocked. No reliable income data exists, and it breaks the rules of every platform involved.

The rules where it happens
- Whop Content Rewards: Do not automate this. Buying or generating views, likes, followers or engagement, or coordinating to do so, results in a permanent ban; related accounts are assessed together and connected socials can be blocked. Source
- TikTok: Do not automate this. Community guidelines prohibit accounts operated in bulk or through unauthorized automation, networks of similar accounts, fake engagement and trading services that inflate metrics; TikTok may also ban new accounts created to get around a ban. Source
- YouTube: Do not automate this. Spam policy bans using automated tools or AI to churn out high volumes of similar content with minimal changes; channels with reused content are not eligible for monetization. Source
What can go wrong
- Permanent ban from the campaign platform and loss of unsettled balance
- Loss of your real TikTok, Instagram or YouTube accounts
- Brands report bot-inflated views and may dispute or reverse payouts
- Paying for views costs money with no guarantee of payout
- Possible legal exposure for fraud against campaign funders
How it hooks people
Stories of five-figure clippers. Those are survivor stories. Whop's terms say buying or generating views earns a permanent ban, and you can lose your real accounts too.
